Thermal Sensing: What is it?

Any object with a temperature above absolute zero (-273.15 ° C) emits radiation. Infrared radiation lies between the visible spectrum (0.4-0.75um) and microwaves (> 15um). Even if we cannot see them, we perceive them every day: the sun and fire are sources of infrared radiation that we can perceive through heat. Thermal Optics, NETD and Accuracy:
The thermal module is composed of an Uncooled Focal Plane Arrays image sensor , with a resolution of 160x120 and a focal length of 3.1mm.
It features NETD below 40mk and accuracy ± 0.5 ° C (can be improved with Black Body - not included). Visual spectrum from 8μm to 14μm.

The Black Body is an optional Hikvision accessory and allows you to improve accuracy when taking body measurements . Thermal cameras usually have a specific accuracy value. By correctly installing the Black Body in front of the camera , the accuracy will reach ± 0.3 ℃.
