What is H.265 +?

A self-developed intelligent algorithm by Hikvision which can greatly reduce the video bitrate based on a standard H.265 codec. Hikvision's H.265 + reduces transmission bandwidth and required storage capacity without impacting video quality, thanks to three key technologies: prediction encoding, noise suppression and flexible bit rate control. Optimized for multiple surveillance scenarios, it allows for greater use of ultra HD surveillance cameras, such as 8MP and 12MP cameras.

WDR 120dB (Wide Dynamic Range):
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): It is the professional solution in cases where it is necessary to operate in conditions of high light / shadow contrast. Fundamental in the case of shots from the inside out, license plates, shaded spots or all situations where there is no homogeneity of light. The higher the db value, the greater the camera's ability to manage the strong difference in the backlight present. Common WDRs usually reach 80db, the human eye is able to recognize a difference of up to 100db. This model reaches up to 120db managing very strong contrast levels.

ROI (Region Of Interest):
The images deriving from IP cameras are “compressed”, consequently the quality is set during the recording phase. Especially on cameras with a very high resolution, it is often necessary to reduce the quality in order to guarantee a reduced bandwidth occupation and record a greater number of days or cameras.
The ROI allows you to define areas where you can set a higher quality (for example a door, the area where the plate usually passes, an exit, etc.). In that area I can set a higher quality thus guaranteeing me a greater definition of the image.

BLC (Back Light Compensation):

3D- DNR:
