 | POC - POWER OVER COAX: This new technology makes it possible to power common coaxial cameras directly through the video cable, on which the signal is sent using the same transmission medium. This technical concept is very similar to PoE, already widely used on IP devices and even earlier on old analog telephones. The coverage in terms of distance of this technology depends on the quality of the cable and the power required by the camera, in any case the guaranteed distances are greater than those of the typical 12V power supplies, which have a much greater loss. |
