Smart IR technology

EXIR 2.0 TECHNOLOGY

This technology remedies the classic disturbances of the traditional IR illuminator.

In detail:

1) NO IR REFLEX OR BLEEDING:
By having the IR LEDs positioned separately from the camera lens, possible internal IR reflections and IR Bleeding are completely eliminated, a serious problem on dome cameras due to the presence of the glass dome.

2) BEST IR COVERAGE:
Usually, the IR is integrated into a circular apparatus with various LEDS around the lens.
This very often resulted in an overexposed circular area in the center of the image and underexposed corners due to uneven IR coverage. The rectangular EXIR LEDs provide a much more even coverage across the entire image, eliminating this issue.


3) FEWER PROBLEMS WITH SPIDERS / INSECTS:
Spiders and other insects tend to be attracted to the heat of the hottest IR LEDS in non-EXIR cameras. This problem decreases with EXIR cameras, even more so in flat-faced EXIR cameras, on which the contact surfaces are significantly smaller.

OSD Menu (Hikvision-C Protocol):
(ON SCREEN DISPLAY) allows you to set the camera parameters: AGC, Day / Night Mode, White Balance, WDR, BLC, HLC, set areas to be masked, motion detection, 3D DNR noise reduction, brightness, shadows, SMART IR and so on.

It is possible to enter the OSD menu by connecting the camera to a TVI DVR. English language
Day / Night:
Allows you to adapt the lens to night / day vision, and the relative automatic management of the IR illuminator, when present.

IR CUT FILTER (ICR):
Mechanical filter that allows a correct display of images in daytime viewing conditions. It filters the typical infrared frequencies thus improving the image quality. In night conditions the filter is removed as it is necessary to capture the typical IR frequencies.

BLC (Back Light Compensation):
is one of the 3 possible steps in the management of images with contrast, typical situations are (entrances or exits from car parks, plates, special lights, entrances with shots from inside to outside, etc.) light compensation is one of the most complex possible, the BLC function allows a fair adaptation to these situations

AGC (Automatic Gain Control):
integrated signal amplifier that allows viewing even in critical conditions. It is automatic and does not require specific settings.
WDR 130dB:
WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): It is the professional solution in cases where it is necessary to operate in conditions of high light / shadow contrast. Fundamental in the case of shots from the inside out, license plates, shaded spots or all situations where there is no homogeneity of light. The higher the db value, the greater the ability of the camera to manage the strong difference in the backlight present. Common WDRs usually reach 80db, the human eye is able to recognize a difference of up to 100db. This model reaches up to 120db managing very strong contrast levels.
