Smart Hybrid Light Technology:

What is it about?

Conventional cameras with IR light provide black and white images which usually result in a loss of detail. Although white light cameras offer colorful images, when the light is always on it may be disturbing.

To solve these critical points, Hikvision has created a new supplementary lighting technology: the Smart Hybrid Light. Security cameras with Smart Hybrid Light provide three additional lighting modes. Users can benefit from selecting the ideal lighting mode for their applications.

How does it work?

Security cameras equipped with Smart Hybrid Light allow users to flexibly switch between three additional lighting modes, adapting to virtually any need or application.

POE (Power Over Ethernet):

The advantage of a PoE camera is evident, it allows it to be powered with the same cable with which it communicates without carrying additional power cables and without having to install a separate power system, a PoE camera guarantees constant voltages and simple installation

This camera features a resolution of 8Megapixel 8.0 MP 8MP 4K ULTRA-DH

Motorized Varifocal Lens:

This camera features a motorized 2.8-12mm varifocal lens.

H.265+ compression

What is H.265+?

An intelligent algorithm self-developed by Hikvision which can greatly reduce the bitrate of video based on standard H.265 codec. Hikvision's H.265+ reduces transmission bandwidth and required storage capacity without impacting video quality, thanks to three key technologies: prediction coding, noise suppression and flexible bit rate control. Optimized for multiple surveillance scenarios, it allows for greater use of ultra HD surveillance cameras, such as 8 MP and 12 MP cameras.

ROI (Region Of Interest):

The images deriving from IP cameras are "compressed", therefore the quality is set during the recording phase. Especially on cameras with a very high resolution, it is often necessary to reduce the quality in order to guarantee reduced bandwidth occupation and record a greater number of days or cameras.
The ROI allows you to define areas where you can set higher quality (for example a door, the area where the license plate usually passes, an exit, etc.). In that area I can set a higher quality , thus guaranteeing greater image definition.

Day/Night:

It allows you to adapt the lens to night/day vision, and the relative automatic management of the IR Illuminator, when present.

ULTRA WDR up to 130dB

WDR (Wide Dynamic Range): It is the professional solution in cases where you need to operate in conditions of high light/shadow contrast. Fundamental when shooting from inside to outside, license plates, shadowed points or all situations where there is no homogeneity of light.

BLC (Back Light Compensation):

it is one of the 3 possible steps in managing images with Contrast, typical situations are (Entries or exits from car parks, license plates, particular lights, entrances with shots from inside to outside, etc.) light compensation is one of the most as complex as possible, the BLC function allows discreet adaptation to these situations

AGC (Automatic Gain Control):

Integrated signal amplifier that allows viewing even in critical conditions. It is automatic and does not require specific settings.

3D-DNR:

More advanced version of NOISE REDUCTION management. It allows still images both in the presence of low light and movement. The currently most powerful solution for obtaining maximum results in the presence of low light.
