WELL CONSIDERED AUTONOMY
A backup battery up to 7 A⋅h is installed in the vhfBridge housing, from which it is possible to power a VHF transmitter with a consumption of up to 2 A. This allows not to equip the transmitter with a battery and reduces the frequency of its maintenance.
In the event of a power outage at the facility, the transponder and transmitter operate on battery backup for up to 75 hours2, continuing to report events to the monitoring station.
INSTANT DELIVERY OF THE ALARM WITHOUT INTERNET
The vhfBridge transponder provides the hub with another communication channel with the monitoring station, via VHF radio waves. A transponder allows Ajax security systems to be installed in places with an unstable or absent Internet connection: in mountain areas, nature reserves or desert areas.
Transmits alarms and system events in fractions of a second over tens of kilometres1. vhfBridge can be used as a primary or backup communication channel.
