⚠️ ATTENTION – IMPORTANT BEFORE PURCHASE

The new IMOU N110W / N118W series NVRs use an automatic and closed Wi-Fi pairing system, designed to connect only new or reset IMOU cameras.

The Wi-Fi hotspot generated by the NVR does not allow manual connections and does not have a password that can be used by the user.

Therefore:

  • It is not possible to connect IMOU cameras already configured in your home network to the NVR without first performing a complete reset of the cameras.
  • It is not possible to migrate an existing system (cameras already active on the IMOU app) to this NVR without starting from scratch.
  • If you replace the NVR , all cameras must be reset to allow automatic pairing.
  • The behavior is different from the previous model, where the access point password was visible and modifiable.

Before purchasing, please carefully check whether this operating mode is compatible with your system.

An official firmware update addressing the limitation is planned, but not yet available.
