Dahua's NVR5000-EI series offers outstanding performance and high-level recording technology ideal for IP video surveillance. It features a powerful processor that offers high access, forwarding bandwidth, and strong decoding capabilities that together produce unobstructed streams. Thanks to the built-in AI chip and Dahua's advanced deep learning algorithms , the NVR supports a variety of back-end AI functions with:

- High-precision facial recognition [2 channels]
- Perimeter protection [4 channels]
 - SMD Plus [8 channels]

These features shorten the response time to events and make videos more interactive.

Furthermore:
- decoding capacity doubles to 32ch@1080P
- bandwidth goes from 320Mbps to 384Mbps
- Support of cameras with resolution up to 32MP.

 The PoE versions can power IP cameras up to 200 meters away and ePoE cameras up to 800 meters , they have an on-board control algorithm (Watchdog) and the power is supplied intelligently to control overpower peaks.
