Dahua's ePoE technology, designed in-house, adopts advanced 2D-PAM3 modulation from the physical layer and realizes full duplex transmissions over 800 meters at the speed of 10 Mbps, or 300 meters at the speed of 100 Mbps via Cat 5 or coaxial cable.

Dahua ePoE technology offers a new way to realize long distance transmission between IP camera and network switch. It allows for more flexible surveillance system design, improves reliability, and saves construction and wiring costs.

- Face Capture : Face capture is a software application that automatically captures faces from within a digital image or video frame from a video source . Dahua cameras use advanced deep learning algorithms , consisting of a large number of sources that enclose facial data, allowing the camera to locate faces quickly and accurately from the video source and capture facial images.

- Face Attribute : Through the use of deep learning algorithms to analyze facial images, Dahua cameras can extract up to six facial attributes from each frame , such as gender, age, expression (happy, calm, surprised, sad, and angry), glasses, masks and mustaches.

Customers can capture important data via face attribute statistics.

- Face Detection : Once the facial features are extracted from the captured faces, they are stored

in a database where other images can be easily searched and compared. Once a match is found, the system outputs the result file. The Dahua Face Recognition camera supports a built-in database that stores up to 10,000 facial images , helping the camera achieve real-time capture and comparison.

- Line crossing : The people count will start when a previously set line is crossed.

- Perimeter crossing : The people count will start when they enter a previously set area.

Smart H.265 + is the optimized implementation of the H.265 codec which uses a scene adaptive coding strategy, dynamic GOP, dynamic ROI, flexible multi-frame reference frame and intelligent noise reduction useful for delivering high quality video without straining the network.

In night conditions the filter is removed as it is necessary to capture the typical IR frequencies.
